Although brides tend to shy away from the boldness of red, we’re starting to see a red color trend emerge in the wedding world, and we happen to find it rather enthralling. Red may seem like a non-traditional choice, but it is the traditional wedding color in many Eastern cultures, where it symbolizes good luck and happiness, and it even has a place in the history of the American wedding, as brides during the American Revolution often donned red gowns as a show of patriotism. In tribute to this fiery color, we’ve rounded up some of our favorite beguiling bouquets that incorporate red florals, from king proteas to Red Charm peonies (our personal favorite). As you can see, red doesn’t have to be relegated to fall or winter bouquets, and red florals can take on many different moods, from rococo to rustic.
