Paige & Cory: A Rustic Barn Wedding in Wisconsin

Paige and Cory have known one another for most of their lives—they met in second grade, dated briefly in seventh, and finally became an official couple during their junior year of high school. Five years later, they got engaged among family and friends at their favorite eatery, a little Italian restaurant in their hometown of Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
The pair knew from the start what kind of wedding they wanted: “rustic but not country in feel.” The Enchanted Barn, a charmingly transformed historic dairy barn that dates back to the 1880s, proved to be the perfect setting for their bright, handmade day.
“We did a year’s worth of antiquing,” Paige said. “We handpicked Mason jars, old windowpanes, vintage suitcases, cigar boxes, crates, and a croquet set.”
The two also undertook a plethora of craft projects, toiling away on table numbers, table runners, chalkboard signs, and directional signs. In the end, the personal touches turned out to be well worth the extra effort. “We wish we could relive the day all over again,” Paige said.
And, in a sense, they can, thanks to the work of photographer Dani Stephenson, who captured the essence of their day—its light, its joy, its love—in the most remarkably beautiful way.
