Metallics and Marble: A Moody Industrial Wedding Shoot at Florida’s Artisan Alley Garage

Metallics and marble reach the height of their moment in this dreamily dark shoot, a creative collaboration between a team of like-minded wedding vendors at one of Florida’s freshest, most versatile venues: Artisan Alley Garage, which boasts more than five thousand square feet of open industrial space converted from a 1920s warehouse in the heart of DeLand, Florida’s historic entertainment district.
Deep, daring reds play against muted greens and steely grays, while modern shapes and materials mingle with dramatic dashes of classic glamour, creating a seductively original eventscape that feels at once timeless and contemporary.
Modernly minimalist, Antoinette Creative’s invitation suite paired frill-free typography with geometric elements and marbleized swirls in black and white. A gold envelope liner lent a pop of glam, while hand lettering by Calliope and Company added an organic touch.
For a bold floral focal point, In Bloom Florist draped a rectangular iron chandelier with white lilies and ‘After Dark’ willow myrtle. The ladies of Tallow + Fern worked their scene-setting magic with décor pieces from West Elm and Kate Ryan, while Orlando-based photographer Jessica Connery created her own alchemy behind the lens.
Two-toned flatware with hammered copper handles gleamed atop silvery metallic linen from Kate Ryan’s collection.
Copper terrariums were filled to overflowing with roses, lilies, foliage, and grape clusters.
Simple menu cards were topped with sprigs of dusty miller and vanilla beans secured with crisscrossed black thread.
Dolled up by Bella con Stile, the bride wore Pure Magnolia’s bohemian-spirited “Poppy” crop top and signature wrap skirt, an airily layered piece crafted out of reclaimed organza and organic cotton.
Flecks of edible gold leaf gave beautifully baked pastries the Midas touch.
A vision of dark decadence, the cake was designed by Bakers Cottage Cakes and featured smokily marbled fondant broken by a cascade of edible gold leaf. Gold-brushed roses, brunia berries, sprigs of evergreen, and a melty mound of chocolate topped off this eye-catching creation.

Love this, I have a feeling that marble and metallics are going to be the trend this year, so creative and those angel wings on the wall, that is so so cool!
