Meredith & Victor: A Romantic Elopement in Sonoma

As a wedding planner, Meredith knows all too well that orchestrating a wedding can be fraught with stress. So when it came to planning her own nuptials, the only kind of celebration that she could envision was a simple, intimate one. She and her groom, Victor, were wed on a balmy spring day beneath a quaint gazebo in the lavender- and rose-filled gardens of MacArthur Place, a boutique inn set on a historic Sonoma estate. Only those closest to the couple—18 people in total—were present.
“I find beauty in neutral simplicity, so I picked white, peach, and pale gray as our colors,” Meredith said. “These hues were reflected in my bridesmaids’ dresses and in the groomsmen’s suits. Anita, the florist behind Wine Country Flowers, created beautiful cream-colored floral arrangements dotted with anemones and peach roses.”
Following the romantic ceremony, the newlyweds and their tiny entourage hopped into a party bus and headed to Bottega, celebrity chef Michael Chiarello’s artisanal Italian restaurant, located on the grounds of one of Napa Valley’s oldest wineries.
Captured beautifully by photographer Jessica Burke, the day was so memorable, Meredith said, because “everyone who was there was involved in some way.”

Beautiful! Love the muted accent tones and that veil shot is really lovely.
