Love Sweet Love: A Honey-Infused Styled Shoot on Georgia’s Tybee Island
Photos By Something Minted Photography

Held on a windswept beach near Tybee Island’s storied lighthouse, this romantic coastal shoot was inspired by the surrounding colors: the grayed blue of the sea and the honeyed hue of the grass-stippled dunes. Orchestrated and photographed by Shelby Schmidt, the creative force behind Something Minted Photography, it was undertaken for the purpose of connecting with local Savannah wedding vendors to bring fresh nuptial inspiration to brides both near and far. Garden on the Square, a full-service floral design studio located in the heart of Savannah’s historic district, provided a beautifully breezy bouquet, and Savannah Bee Company, a specialty honey shop, supplied an array of sweet goods, from honey straws to honey-infused soap.
“You can feel the whimsy and warmth,” says Shelby. “The models, Kim and Tyler, are a real-life couple, and they rang in their wedding anniversary by joining us for this shoot. The love they share shined brighter than the Georgia sun.”

Absolutely gorgeous pictures. Can we talk about how beautiful the location is, too? Loving the lighthouse and the shot of the rings with some seashells!
