Love in the City: A Romantically Modern Wedding Shoot at the Tribeca Rooftop

Inspired by the modern-meets-romantic vibe of Sincerely Jackie’s “Auric” invitation suite, which blends classic letterpress and foil stamping with contemporary typography, event designer Kat Eitner brought to life her vision of a quintessential New York City wedding in this chic shoot, captured flawlessly by photographer Mikkel Paige and held at the Tribeca Rooftop, a unique venue space housed in a converted 1920s printing press building located on a cobblestone street in one of the most well-known neighborhoods of Lower Manhattan. With floor-to-ceiling windows, sweeping industrial staircases, and a roof terrace that offers unparalleled views of the Hudson River and the Manhattan skyline, the Tribeca Rooftop is a go-to venue for stylish city couples.
Flowers by Ivona brought romance and drama to the space with a lush blend of flowers, including anemones, roses, ranunculi, and lisianthus. Long, sleek glass dining tables were set with classic gold-rimmed china; streamlined gold flatware; black lace and ribbon arranged in a linear fashion; geometric crystal candlestick holders; and table numbers, escort cards, and sweetheart chair signs elegantly lettered by Everly Calligraphy. Candlelit glass spheres hung from an ornamental tree set atop a baby grand piano. The arrangement greeted guests as they entered the space and set the stage for the evening. An eye-catching black-and-gold wedding cake, created by So Simply Sweet, capped off the affair.
The bride was the picture of cosmopolitan elegance in a fit-and-flare Reem Acra gown from Gabriella New York. For a beautifully moody bridal makeup style, Stacie Ford Weddings paired bold red lips with soft, sweeping curls. Dazzling rings from Mendham Jewelers and a sparkling Johanna Johnson headband completed the look. When the winds picked up on the rooftop, a fur jacket, also from Gabriella New York, kept the bride warm. Her groom looked dashing in a gray suit with a classic skinny tie.
