Photographer Kim Maru, beauty maven Christina Petry, and pastry chef Nicole McEachnie—a trifecta of talented Canadian nuptial artists—came together at Vancouver’s Cecil Green Park House to serve up some rich inspiration for a swanky holiday wedding fête. Marked by a classic winter palette of red, white, and gold, their lavishly festive shoot featured a snowy spread of decadent desserts, from gold-flecked gourmet marshmallows to chocolate-dipped gingerbread men decked out with Christmas song lyrics stenciled in edible ink. At the center of it all was a quartet of white-frosted red velvet cakes, one topped with fresh pomegranate arils and the others adorned with intricate blooms and berry branches made entirely out of sugar. Adding glamorous details such as gilded pears and rhinestone-encrusted pumps from iconic French designer Christian Louboutin, the creative team didn’t just let it snow, they let it sparkle!
