Beautifully captured by Kasey and Ben, a husband-and-wife photography duo located in Green Bay, Wisconsin, this rustically refined wedding shoot took place at a lovingly restored 110-year-old barn in the country village of Pulaski.
“The venue fit my idea of beauty,” Kasey says. “It’s eclectic, authentic, and layered with history.”
Once the setting was secured, Kasey and Ben began searching for the perfect subjects, which they found in Andrea Buss and Tremaine Carson, a real-life couple who was then just weeks away from their actual wedding.
The groom was suited in a gray linen tux from DuBois Formalwear, while the bride was outfitted by Milwaukee-based bespoke bridal atelier Minkmaids in a sky-like dress fashioned out of airy silk tulle dipped in a barely-there blue hue. Cake and Cookie created a tiny celebratory cake textured to match the ruching on the bodice of Andrea’s gown, and florist Nichole Campbell of Petal Pusher added the finishing touches with her boho-inflected floral designs.
“The day couldn’t have been better,” Kasey says. “We styled little scenes and photographed Andrea and Tremaine throughout the grounds until the sun went down, all the while doves cooing and farm kittens scurrying about. The night ended with cake, champagne, and sparklers—the best way to celebrate!”
